Set Up Event Notification

If it has been enabled by your DM administrator, you can use Event Notification.

Event Notification allows you to define events, such as a specific document being checked out or a specific folder being updated, that will result in a customizable notification message being sent to you.

The Event Notification page can be accessed in two ways:

  • While viewing the Folder Details or Document Details page, click the Notification tab. The Notification tab will only appear if your DM administrator has enabled this feature.

  • From a list of items, select Notification from the More actions menu for an item. Notification will only appear on the More actions menu if your DM administrator has enabled this feature.

 

Important

Important:
Failing to click the Submit icon (for example, by leaving the Notification tab by any other method) will result in the loss of all information entered in the fields on the tab. Be sure to click the Submit icon to save the changes to make to the Notification settings.
