Additional Document Profile Fields

Depending upon which type of database (for example, Legal, Financial, Government, or Custom) is being used by the library currently being accessed, additional information fields may be displayed as part of a Document Profile.

The Legal database (as shipped) contains three additional fields:

Field
Description
Client
The client name or ID associated with this document.
Billable
Indicates whether or not the work on this document is billable.
Matter
The matter associated with this client.

The Financial database (as shipped) contains two additional fields:

Field
Description
Account
Account to which this document belongs.
Department
Department to which this document belongs.

The Government database (as shipped) contains additional fields:

Field
Description
Division
Division to which this document belongs.
Organization
Organization to which this document belongs.

Note:
If your administrator has configured DM to use industry-specific search forms, you may see the industry-specific fields on the Search page when you access an industry-specific library as your current library.

If you are using a Custom database, consult your administrator regarding the correct use of any additional fields or options that may be displayed as part of a Document Profile or Search form.
